OPM Manga Chapter 2 takes us back three years earlier when our main character was still job hunting wearing a tie and a coat. His hair was still long, and he was not a hero then….
Coming from a failed job interview, he met a monster who once was a man but transformed into Crabrante after eating too much crab.
The people in that area started running while our main character stood in front of Crabrante intimidating him to run. But the monster let him go instead as he was hunting for another target.
As our main character continued walking, he met a brat with a cleft chin playing soccer on the street. Suddenly, he remembered that the Crabrante’s target was that kid and if he found him, he would rip the kid’s body from limb to limb.
The monster suddenly appeared behind our main character and started crushing the brat with a cleft chin. Fortunately, our main character (he was still not a hero at that time) rescued the boy.
It was soon found out that the the boy drew nipples on Crabrante with a permanent marker while he was sleeping and he wanted to get his revenge.
Our main character started fighting against Crabrante. He was overwhelmed at first but ultimately defeated the monster by knotting his necktie on the crab’s eye and pulling it out.
One Punch Man Chapter 2 ended in the present era seeing our hero buy groceries while contemplating why he was still not satisfied even after training so hard and achieving overwhelming power.
