In OPM Chapter 201, young Flashy Flash is about to grab the veiny hand. Suddenly, the hand punches him in the face. The scene shifts to reality, where Sonic punches Flashy Flash.
Flashy Flash is thrown back by Sonic’s punch. Empty Void realizes Flashy Flash didn’t accept the cube. Flashy Flash, reflecting on his vision of young Sonic, understands his emotional dependency to him.
Pretending it was just a nightmare, Flashy Flash moves beside Sonic to confront Empty Void. Empty Void, holding the cube, declares both are equals. Flashy Flash and Sonic launch a swift attack.
Empty Void warps to another dimension, “Hyperspace,” observing a bright light below and spheres of light passing by. He focuses on a sphere containing Flashy Flash and Sonic, preparing his jutsu attack.
Empty Void draws his katana, planning to slash the sphere. On Earth, Flashy Flash senses something and warns Sonic. A massive “X” slash from Empty Void’s “Dimension Slash” approaches them.
Flashy Flash is shocked and fearful, seeing Sonic’s body seemingly cut in half. A dimensional hole forms and Empty Void emerges, ready to shove the cube into Flashy Flash’s face.
Suddenly, Blast appears and punches Empty Void with “Gravity Knuckle!” Empty Void is blown away, crashing into the ground, creating a huge explosion of dust. Flashy Flash notices Blast’s arrival.
Mad, Empty Void powers up and recovers. Flashy Flash and Sonic are confused about Sonic’s survival. Blast explains that he saved him and followed Flash to discover this place. Empty Void looks furious.
Blast holds Sonic and Flashy Flash, congratulating them for resisting the cube’s temptation.
