OPM Manga Chapter 42 takes us to Fubuki’s first attempt to convince Saitama to join…
…her group called the Blizzard. With two of the highest-ranking Class B heroes with her, she went to Saitama’s apartment to make the offer. Sonic also shows up and fights Genos.
The chapter starts with Genos updating Saitama about their hero rankings while doing dishes in their apartment.
Genos senses an approaching threat, and to test his new upgrades, he decides to face it. The threat turns out to be Speed-O’-Sound Sonic, who is eager to fight his rival, Saitama.
Genos and Sonic prepare for a confrontation.
As Sonic takes out his shuriken, Saitama remains focused on the video game. Unexpectedly, men in suits appear looking for Saitama, but he dismisses them, showing no interest.
The individuals in suits are revealed to be Fubuki and her team. Saitama’s lack of concern about hero rankings frustrates Fubuki’s team.
One of them gets upset at Saitama’s casual attitude, prompting Saitama to get super serious.
Fubuki’s team explains the hero ranking system to Saitama, and she offers him a higher rank if he joins her group. But Saitama shows no interest.
Fubuki instructs her team to hurt Saitama badly, hoping to discourage him from continuing as a hero.
However, with a single punch, Saitama effortlessly defeats Eyelashes and Wild Monkey, sending them flying outside his apartment.
